Smoke-Free Campus Policy

Within the framework of smoke-free campus practices, our university adopts and implements the following policy regarding the use of tobacco, tobacco products and electronic cigarettes:

To take the necessary measures to eliminate incentives for the use of tobacco, tobacco products and electronic cigarettes,

To Make and announce the necessary restrictions to minimize the effects of passive smoking,

To determine restricted areas by minimizing the areas where tobacco, tobacco products and electronic cigarettes can be consumed,

To ensure that warnings regarding the dangers of using tobacco, tobacco products and electronic cigarettes are visibly displayed in restricted areas where tobacco, tobacco products and electronic cigarettes can be consumed,

To work with non-governmental organizations and other organizations to reduce the use of tobacco, tobacco products and electronic cigarettes,

To ensure that legal sanctions are applied in case of detection of those who violate the rules.
