Waste Management and Zero Waste Policy

Our university adopts and implements the following policy regarding waste management and zero waste:

To create appropriate areas throughout the campus to ensure that waste is separated at source,

To establish the necessary protocols for the safe collection and disposal of all waste, especially hazardous waste (chemical, biological, electronic), and to inform staff and students about hazardous waste management processes,

To reduce the consumption of single-use plastics on our university campuses and to conduct information and training activities on campus to minimize and separate waste at source,

To develop projects to create a waste management culture throughout society,

To comply with all legal requirements regarding the safe and efficient reduction, recycling and reuse of waste produced on our campuses.
